a look back at the last 85,000 miles...

I reached 85,000 on the way into work today on my daily 60+ mile commute to Florence, KY. for the drive I averaged 39 MPG and so far no failures on the car. I will point out after the 85,000 miles in the 2 3/4 years that I have owned the car. There are just two things thats that occur that I have not found fixes for. One being the suspension squeak that started 60,000 miles ago, and the dealer in the one trip to see if they could resolve it were not able to duplicate. Its not a big issue, is more of what I call a crunching sound when I make certain turns and speed bumps. I personally think the car should not have noise.

The other concern over the years only has been a slight roughness to starting and shutting the car off. Again, I may be picky here, but even after changing spark plugs at 80K that did not change. Has not affected operation of the car.
